Saturday 13 December 2025 4:30pm – 9:30pm
The Refectory, Ermysted’s Grammar School, Gargrave Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire BD23 1PL

The Ermysted’s Old Boys’ Dinner is back for 2025, with a more informal feel this year!
We’re trying something a bit different – there’ll be no allocated seating or table service. Instead we’ll serve up pie & peas (or vegetarian alternative) and you can sit where you like in the Refectory. As usual there’ll be a bar and a chance to catch up with old school friends and teachers.
Please read the information below and then book your ticket(s) at the bottom of this page. Payment can be made by debit/credit card, or using PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay!

A bar with beers, wines, cider and soft drinks will be available (card/cash payment). NB: no alcohol must be brought onto the premises or taken with you at the end of the event.
PRICES
We’ve reduced the ticket price this year to make it more accessible, so it’s just £10.
If you left school in 2015 or later – or are a current/former member of staff at EGS the ticket price is £5.
– The discount will be provided in the form of a £5 bar voucher which you will receive on arrival. Please select the appropriate option when booking.
PS. We’re smart enough to be able check the dates you were at school – to ensure only those who actually left school in the last 10 years or worked at the school get the bar voucher on arrival 😉
BOOKING FEES
To reduce our workload behind the scenes we’re using TryBooking for this event. The platform charges a ticket fee of 15p per ticket, plus a 5% processing fee for collecting your payment and putting it straight into our bank account. We ask you to cover these fees in order to ensure money raised for the school through this event is maximised – thank you for your understanding!
